Yannis Demertzis is an Assistant Professor at UCSC in Computer Science and Engineering, focusing on applied cryptography and secure databases. Currently a postdoctoral researcher at UC Berkeley's RISE Lab, he earned his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland. His work advances secure computing systems and cryptographic applications.
