Şebnem Udum is a recognized expert in nuclear nonproliferation, energy security, and nuclear security, having served as Chair of the International Nuclear Security Education Network (INSEN) and collaborated with the IAEA. She is affiliated with Hacettepe University and the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, contributing to the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies.
