Saravanan Palani is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at IISc Bangalore, specializing in cell biology, cytoskeleton, cell cycle, synthetic biology, and evolution. An alumnus of University of Warwick, DKFZ, MKU, and VIT, he brings a diverse and international academic background to his research and teaching in molecular and cellular biology.
