Kay Firth-Butterfield leads AI & ML initiatives and formerly served on the Executive Committee at the World Economic Forum. She is vice-chair of the IEEE Global Initiative on AI Ethical Design and a professor specializing in law, ethics, international relations, and AI at Responsible Robotics and the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence. Her work focuses on AI governance and ethical design in technology.
