Heather Miller is a computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon University and co-founder and former Executive Director of the Scala Center at EPFL. She has applied her expertise in programming languages and distributed systems at Two Sigma and leads research at the intersection of distributed systems, programming models, and machine learning. Miller actively mentors PhD students and contributes to advancing computer science education and research.
