Eric Alm is a professor of biological engineering at MIT and co-director of the Center for Microbiome Informatics and Therapeutics. He co-founded Finch Therapeutics and Biobot Analytics, leading innovations in microbiome-based biotechnology. Alm's research includes single-cell genomic sequencing of the human gut microbiome, advancing public health through wastewater epidemiology and microbiome therapeutics.
