Dr. Dawn Wright serves as Chief Scientist at Esri and is a GIS and ocean sciences professor at Oregon State University. As an aquanaut and the first Black diver to reach the Challenger Deep, she combines deep-sea exploration expertise with advanced GIS research. Wright leads initiatives enhancing ocean data accessibility and advocates for inclusivity and climate justice within oceanographic sciences.
